Rocky's Story | Part 4

Rocky had his 10th birthday in the summer and apart from a touch of arthritis remains feisty and full of life. He has a pseudomas ear infection which was initially difficult to diagnose and was resistant to treatment but with new medication we hope it will clear up.

Thankfully there has not been any evidence of recurrence of cancer and we are now 15 months on from his initial surgery. Rocky is a very bossy little...

Alice Kitten's Story | Part 2

Alice will be one at the end of November. With the right treatment and lots of TLC and, of course, her own indominatable spirit, Alice has gone from strength to strength and is now able to enjoy more freedom around the house to play without the acute anxiety of the possibility of injury, although I still have to exercise some caution.

Rocky's Story | Part 2

You may recall from our last newsletter that Rocky Yorkie had been seen at North West Surgeons where the vet had carried out an examination and advised a period of monitoring as we had very little history and he had only been with me for a few days.

The main issues were his rotting teeth, his fixed jaw which had prevented anaesthetic being carried out, his overshot lower jaw and a large tumour on his genital...

Rocky's Story | Part 1

On the 30th July we received a telephone call from a gentleman whose mother had gone into a nursing home and was therefore no longer able to look after her 9 year old Yorkshire terrier. He went on to say that he had made an appointment to have the dog put to sleep that afternoon as there was no where for it to go. We immediately contacted Sally to see if she would be...
